COVID-19 – Millennium Support Response

In preparation and response to the above as of today’s date, 13th March 2020, we will be restricting non-essential visits to services and cancelling non-essential meetings. If you have  a meeting scheduled at any of our resources and you have not been contacted by a manager, could you ring the contact that you have and discuss this.

Managers will be using their discretion on what is essential and non-essential. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but I am sure that you understand that we need to try to maintain a healthy place to live for the people we support and maintain a healthy work place for our employees. Over the next few weeks we may also need to cancel other activities which we will continue to monitor and keep you up to date with. We are working with our commissioners and continual Government advice to take the necessary measures.

For People We Support we are mindful that they need to maintain family contact so we may ask that you meet in a ‘neutral’ place away from resources. This will be discussed with you and the person we support in advance.

If you are permitted to visit then we ask all visitors that they engage in hand washing routines and use dispensers provided. Also please restrict physical contact e.g. shaking of hands and hugging.
